Name: Inumaru
House: Gryffindor
Talent: Decent in most standard areas, takes off with Charms.
Position: Charms Teacher
Other: Because of his relative new-ness to the school, the number of things that people know of Inumaru's background is greatly outnumbered by what they don't know. For example, during the 8-9 year gap inbetween graduation and application, he traveled. He took pretty good care of himself too, taking odd jobs here and there, and eventually ran into a wizard who was talented at both Transfiguration and Herbology. What actually happened is unknown, but the wizard became a sort of mentor to Inumaru and they traveled together. During that time, the mentor teased the student mercilessly, and the student wondered if his mentor was all right in the head sometimes, as he began to find his calling in Charms.

Time went by! Inumaru gained that twitchy reaction against pink light charms and dogwood* along the way! However, that mentor was in fact a real teacher and temporarily on sabbatical, so after a while they parted ways. And because of the influence of that wizard, Inumaru decided to one day become a teacher to help aspiring students.

But a short while later, he was traveling the countryside when he saw a boy attempting to save a kid from a dragon. Despite not being able to use magic as a minor. So Inumaru rushed in recklessly to help, and the two of them got the dragon to get the hell away and saved the kid. After returning that kid to his parents, the two of them got to talking. That was how he met Sano, who was wandering around for the break at the time.

Running into danger together to save another somehow made them friends, so they traveled together for a while before Sano had to get back to the foster home he lived at, and get back to Hogwarts. Sano probably started the Wanko nickname during this time. But they realized along the way that they really didn't mind each other's company, so after some convincing, and Wanko getting a temporary place to live, Sano ended up in Wanko's care. The break ended and Sano returned to Hogwarts. When current Charms teacher had to drop his position suddenly, Hogwarts needed a fast replacement. Sano suggested that Wanko apply. So he did. /o/

*I am so sorry, but I thought, if it got mentioned in two spinoff communities, the tradition might as well continue in the next one.

So in the game, there are extenuating circumstances. I will try hard to work with them while remaining IC. However! If you see me royally mess up in the course of the game, KICK ME HERE. Metaphorically, but the thought is there.

If there's a problem with the screening, or you're just the casual observer and thinking something I did might be off and you're curious about it, my email is in my profile. Biting is not an issue, in fact, I am the one who fears biting from others. And yet I encourage the kicking anyways. For the sake of the game, I wholeheartedly enable the kicking.

In laymen's terms, kick me if there's something you feel is wrong, no matter how small. This post will always be here for that purpose.

Entries are screened, IP logging off.

--for a while I kept thinking that I stupidly gave Wanko the worst job in camp. ...It probably still is, but by something I'll at least have him do it. Whether or not it benefits others remains to be in the eye of the beholder.
